If you are from the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area than you most likely have heard the Easterns jingle at some point in your life. From television commercials to radio, Easterns Automotive Group has developed a huge following from their catchy jingle along with their infamous commercials and skits with celebrities, major athletes, and entertainers. This trend that was started by Easterns has been taken and flipped different ways by other brands, automotive companies, and businesses. It?s clear that Easterns impacted not only the DC metro area but also the world as a whole.

One of the most notable Easterns commercials is with Ray Lewis, Lavar Arrington, and Clinton Portis singing the jingle. This is the one that people still actively post and share via social media. There is a fascination that fans have with seeing their favorite macho NFL players singing such a humorous song. Some other notable guests Easterns got early on include Willis Mcgahee, DeAngelo Hall, and and Santana Moss. The Easterns roster goes on on and because so many NFL players found interest in wanting to participate. Carlos Rogers, Chris Cooley, and Antwaan Randle El are all former Washington Redskins now but have previously been apart of the ?Eastern Motors? movement. The list doesn?t stop there, Lavernaues Coles, Alfred Morris, and Brian Orakpo have also previously sang along to the infamous tune. The late Sean Taylor of the Redskins also had his fair share of Easterns fun during his time in the NFL. It?s a great way for fans to remember and honor the great person that he was. Today, Easterns has an All Star Team consisting of Kirk Cousins, Josh Norman, Ryan Kerrigan, and Jordan Reed, all current players of the Washington Redskins.

The NFL is not the only sports association to be associated with Easterns. Early on in his career, the company recruited Baltimore?s own, Carmelo Anthony. Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards represented for the NBA and the DC metro area last year while staring in his very own Easterns jingle commercial. However, one commercial tends to stick out and that is the one of NHL hockey star, Alex Ovechkin. He is a pretty funny lighthearted guy so many people enjoyed his take on the Easterns jingle.

With the early success of the Easterns brand and overall popularity, the company thought it would be smart to keep the narrative the same but this time incorporate actors, comedians, and musicians. From a marketing standpoint, it is definitely smart to have something for each audience. One particular hilarious jingle commercial that stands out is the one including actor/comedian John Witherspoon, most known for his role on the hit show The Wayans Bros. Gilbert Gottfried and Kevin Pollak were two more guys that had a blast being a part of the jingle campaign. Another popular Easterns commercial was the one including
Fat Joe. He didn?t sing the jingle but he referenced his songs ?Make It Rain? and ?Lean Back? which were huge in pop culture at the time. Other notable Easterns guests include Harland Williams, Brandon Fobbs, and Guy Torre.
