Days after the explosion at Potomac Oaks Park Apartments in Gaithersburg the Montgomery Housing Partneship jumped in to help families, some who lost everything. 100% of the money donated will go directly to families. They are not new to helping families when disasters like this take place.

“This is the holiday times. These families are struggling. It’s never a good time, but especially a difficult time for these families,” Goldman explained.

Joel Bassam of Easterns Automotive Group wanted to bring light to what they are doing to help the families who have been displaced. In this difficult time, Goldman appreciated the gesture that would assist families who needed it most.

“This is very generous. Well, this is just one more example of the community coming together. Every penny, every dollar will go directly to the families,” Goldman replied.
