With compassion and love they helped us get through the worst of the pandemic and have continued to care for our communities in our most vulnerable times. As part of this Pay It Forward, we stopped by the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center to thank nurses for their work.

During nurses appreciation week, we wanted to surprise them with something special. To thank the nursing staff for paying it forward, Easterns Automotive Group sent the them catered meals from Thomas Thyme and Escape Foot Soaks from Naturally London.

We partnered with FOX5 to Pay It Forward with the residents of the Godwin House a Senior facility in which they are making mats for the homeless, helping local high schoolers with college essays, helping staff with citizenship studying, and making boxes for Ukraine
The impact of the pandemic has affected our senior citizens greatly. The elder outreach program at South County High school wanted to support the elders in their community by creating the Elder Outreach Program.
We are so grateful to be able to work with FOX5 to Pay It Forward. In this Pay It Forward we were able to say thank you the members of the First Baptist Church of Highland Park by providing care packages for all the work they are doing in the community.
We had another opportunity to Pay It Forward with FOX5 during Senior Week. This time with the Senior Line Dancing at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center. In appreciation for all they do and have done for their community, we surprised the Senior Line Dancing group members with care packages.
We partnered with FOX5 to Pay it Forward by helping support Upcounty Hub, a non-profit that has weekly drive-through food distributions and direct check-ins with those they serve. The Hub also delivers safely to the homes of those battling COVID, the elderly, the disabled, or families without transportation. We love what they are doing so we had a special surprise.
In partnership with FOX5 we teamed up to Pay It Forward to a youth empowerment group Bold, Brilliant, Beautiful in their pursuit to empower young women by preparing for college, gaining more financial literacy, and helping with body acceptance
Lorton Community Action Center
Lorton Community Action Center saw a need in the face of the pandemic and wanted families to have a wonderful holiday season. They were committed to providing food, toys, and resources to those in the community who needed them the most. They worked tirelessly to gather donations to distribute, and we had a secret surprise on this Pay It forward with Fox 5.
Veteran Eddie Smith
In October, 82-year-old veteran, affectionately known as Mr. Eddie, lost his home of 40 years in a fire, forcing him to start over. On this Pay It Forward with Fox 5, we had a special surprise for him and his wife.
Soles4Souls is an organization that collects unwanted shoes and puts them to good use for those in need. On this #PayItForward with Fox 5 we were inspired by their efforts so we donated $500 worth of shoes to their cause. We also purchased $1500 worth of foot soap from botanical-based line Naturally London to give to first responders and hospital staff.
